Abstract
Unripe fruits of Ocotea vellosiana were found to contain 13 benzylisoq uinoline alkaloids, four flavonol glycosides, thalictoside, p-hydroxyb enzoyl-rutinoside and asparagine, besides three novel p-coumaroyl deri vatives of afzelin.
