Abstract
A series of Ni-W catalysis supported on ultrastable zeolites (USY) wit h metal contents of Ni (2% weight as NiO) and W (20% weight as WO3) we re prepared, and the influence of the preparation method on the crysta llinity, surface area, surface acidity, activity and selectivity in th e thiophene hydrodesulfurization (HDS) reaction and the subsequent but ene hydrogenation (HYD) reaction were studied.
