V. Manriquez et al., LAYERED TRANSITION-METAL DICHALCOGENIDES MX2(M=NB, TA X=S, SE, TE) - STRUCTURE OF NEW PHASES OF TANTALUM DERIVATIVES AND INTERCALATION OF CONDUCTING POLYMERS, Boletin de la Sociedad Chilena de Quimica, 40(2), 1995, pp. 213-217
Synthesis and characterization by powder X-ray diffraction analysis of
niobioum and tantalum dichalcogenides, MX(2) (M = Nb, Ta; X = S, Se,
Te) as well as of their intercalation products with polyethylenoxide (
POE) are described. New metallic modifications were obtained for TaS2
and TaSe2. X-ray diffraction patterns of the POE intercalated phases i
ndicate structures similar to the pristine dichalcogenides but with in
terplanar spacings increased in about 10 Angstrom.
