Is. Batkin et Mk. Sundaresan, EFFECT OF PLASMA SINGLE-PARTICLE EXCITATIONS ON THE RATE OF NUCLEAR-REACTIONS IN THE SUN, Physical review. E, Statistical physics, plasmas, fluids, and related interdisciplinary topics, 52(1), 1995, pp. 940-947
In this paper, the influence of a third body-the single particles of t
he plasma-on the rate of nuclear reactions in the interior of the sun
is calculated using a semiclassical approach. The results suggest that
increases ranging from 2% to 8% are possible for the rate of nuclear
reactions in the solar core. The implications of these results for sol
ar neutrino detectors is estimated.
