N. Kodama et al., ROOM-TEMPERATURE PERSISTENT SPECTRAL HOLE-BURNING OF SM2-TYPE SINGLE-CRYSTALS ALPHA-MALNF(6), (M=CA, SR, A=NA, K, RB, LN=Y, LA)( IN DISORDERED FLUORITE), Journal of luminescence, 64(1-6), 1995, pp. 181-187
Persistent spectral hole burning is observed in Sm2+ doped disordered
fluorite-type single crystals alpha-MALnF(6) (M = Ca, Sr; A = Na, K, R
b; Ln = Y, La) at room temperature. The holes are burned in the F-7(0)
--> D-5(0) lines of the Sm2+ in the cation disordered fluorite-type c
rystals. The compositional dependences of the inhomogeneous line width
and the hole width are also measured.
