Abstract
The editorial board of the journal is beginning publication of article s on current problems of measurements of the flow tate of liquids, gas es, and steam, which are based on papers read at the international con ference ''Improvement of Instruments for Measuring the Flow Rate of fl uids, Cases, and Steam,'' organized by the International Center of Eco nomics, Science, and Technology with the collaboration of other organi zations in St. Petersburg, April 19-20, 1994. In this issue we present articles which consider ways of normalizing the errors of gas meters at low flow rates. A method is given for determining the mass flow rat e of a suspension-bearing flow, using the vertical segments of a pipel ine. The use of frequency-pulsed ultrasonic flowmeters is considered.
