Abstract
Adult male laboratory mice display a circadian rhythm of both locomoto r (barrel rotating) rhythm and total motor activity rhythm. Continuous light reduced and continuous darkness enhanced both locomotor and mot or activity. Vasopressin strongly inhibited the activity of DD (consta nt darkness) and LL (constant light) animals.
