Abstract
A four-detector e(-)-gamma spectrometer has been installed on-line wit h the ISOLDE isotope separator. The spectrometer consists of two magne tic lenses for detection of conversion electrons, and two BaF2 scintil lators for gamma-ray detection. The spectrometer has been equipped wit h a 20 kV pre-acceleration system which enables detection of conversio n electrons down to 2 keV. Implantation and measurement can be perform ed simultaneously on a large temperature range by heating or cooling t he sample holder. The advantages of using the e(-)-gamma PAC technique on-line at ISOLDE are discussed.
