Abstract
A series of new gold(I) complexes with triphenylphosphine and perfluor inated carboxylic acids were synthesized and their thermal and spectro scopic (IR, C-13, F-19, P-31 NMR) properties studied Au(I) appears to be two coordinated by triphenylphosphine and unidentately bonded carbo xylates. Thermal decomposition proceeds in several steps and leads to metallic gold.
