Abstract
In the creep range, crack growth is governed by the C-integral as the loading parameter. A simple test specimen is proposed which allows to determine crack growth rates as a function of C under tension condit ions. As an example the creep crack growth relation for an alumina wit h 4% glassy phase is determined at 1100 degrees C. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
