Interdiffusion in systems involving poly(2-alkyl-5-vinyl tetrazole)s a
nd a number of low-molecular-mass solvents, was studied, The concentra
tion dependences of diffusion coefficients and activation energies for
diffusion were measured in a wide range of solutions compositions, Th
e data obtained are interpreted in terms of free volume theory. For va
rious temperatures and substituents, the dependences of diffusion coef
ficients on composition can be reduced to a unique general curve, plot
ting the diffusion coefficient versus the difference between current t
emperature and glass transition temperature of a particular polymer. F
or solutions of poly(2-methyl-5-vinyl tetrazole), the dependence of th
e diffusion coefficient on the viscosity of a diffusant was studied.
