PRACTICAL EXPERIENCES IN THE THERAPY OF P OSTOPERATIVE UREMIC CRISIS

Older dogs are often in the status of compensated chronic kidney failu re. The onset of postoperative uremic crisis is often insidious and tr eatment is very difficult. The authors present different well known th erapeutic methods and make the conclusion, that those methods which in clude the daily application of a central nervous stimulant agent give superior results when compared to other methods.
