Abstract
Strongyloidosis, an endemic helminthic infection of the tropics, cause s morbidity and mortality in the immunosuppressed renal transplant rec ipient. (1,2) We report here about a transplant recipient afflicted by s trongyloidosis who was successfully treated with albendazole. Editor's Note: Although this article reports on a relatively uncommon transpla nt-related complication, the editors of D & T felt that the informatio n contained herein regarding pharmaceuticals warranted presentation.
