T. Shirakami et al., LOW-TEMPERATURE HEAT-CAPACITY OF (ZRO2)(1-X)(Y2O3)(X) (X=0.0776 AND 0.0970) AND LOW-ENERGY EXCITATIONS, Solid state ionics, 79, 1995, pp. 143-146
Heat capacity was measured on fine powder samples of yttria-stabilized
cubic zirconia, (ZrO2)(1-x)(Y2O3)(x)(x=0.0776 and 0.0970), between 13
and 300 K by adiabatic calorimetry. A broad hump was observed at abou
t 20 K in the normalized heat capacity curve of C-pT-3 versus T, in c
ontrast with that of non-doped zirconia (x=0).
