HEMATIC PSEUDOCYST OF THE ADRENAL-GLAND - A CASE-REPORT

We report apr adrenal pseudocyst fortuitously discovered in a 30-year- old young woman. Diagnostic of this uncommon pathology is characterize d by absence of specific clinical signs and the impotance of recent ra diologic examinations, echography and NMR. Percutaneous aspiration app ears to be warranted prior to or instead of surgery in patients with s ymptomatic cysts or cystic lesions that do not fulfill the imaging cri teria for simple cysts. Treatment is based on adrenal gland resection owing to the seriousness of the potential complications.
