Abstract
We present a new generating algorithm to construct exact non-static so lutions of the Einstein field equations with two-dimensional inhomogen eity. infinite-dimensional families of G(1) inhomogeneous solutions wi th a self-interacting scalar held, or alternatively with a perfect flu id, can be constructed using this algorithm. Some families of solution s and the applications of the algorithm are discussed.
