The diagnosis of chronic lesions of the nasal cavities and sinuses in
the dog usually requires that an imaging technic should be used. Speci
fic radiographic changes may be seen with lesions like: radioopaque fo
reign body, Aspergillosis and cancer. Computed tomography is more prec
ise, first for the differential diagnosis of these lesions and also fo
r a more precise localisation. Tomographic signs of bacterial and fung
al rhinitis, rhinitis secondary to a foreign body or to a parondopathy
as well as of scancers are presented.
