Op. Sangueza et al., PRIMARY CUTANEOUS IMMUNOCYTOMA - REPORT OF AN UNUSUAL CASE WITH SECONDARY SPREADING TO THE GASTROINTESTINAL-TRACT, Journal of cutaneous pathology, 24(1), 1997, pp. 43-46
Cutaneous immunocytoma are low-grade B-cell lymphomas, which affect th
e skin either primarily or secondarily. Primary cutaneous immunocytoma
s usually present with one or a small number of lesions, mainly in the
extremities. They generally remain confined to the skin. Histological
ly, there are polymorphous infiltrates of cells, in which the presence
of monoclonal plasma cells is characteristic. We describe a case of c
utaneous immunocytoma with secondary spread to the gastrointestinal tr
act. (C) Munksgaard 1997.
