Abstract
We present a full description of new pulse-like solutions of the compl ex quintic Ginzburg-Landau equation (CCLE). These solutions have a Lor entzian intensity profile and exist only when certain relations betwee n the coefficients of the CGLE are satisfied. A detailed numerical stu dy of their stability has been carried out.
