MEMBERSHIP PROBABILITIES IN THE PLEIADES FIELD

A catalogue(1) of proper motions and photographic B, V magnitudes for stars up to B = 19 mag within a region centered near Alcyone is presen ted. The catalogue is based on MAMA measurements of 8 plates taken wit h the Tautenburg Schmidt telescope. The survey includes ca. 14500 star s and covers a total field of about 9 square degrees. For stars bright er than B=18 mag an internal accuracy of 0.05 mag and 2.5 mas/year has been estimated for photometric data and proper motions, respectively. Membership probabilities, proper motions and B, V magnitudes are list ed for 442 stars up to B = 19 in the Pleiades field.
