WAVELET ANALYSIS OF CHROMOSPHERIC SOLAR OSCILLATIONS

We obtain new information on chromospheric oscillations from the appli cation of wavelet analysis to observations of the quiet Sun in He I an d Ca Pi lines. Using this analysing technique the temporal behaviour o f oscillations at different frequencies is illustrated in two regions: a magnetic element network and a non magnetic intra-network cell. The results presented below show the duration of the chromospheric wavetr ains and the correlation between the two lines, and also include a stu dy of the lags between the signals.
