A new completely integrable Hamilton n-particle system is presented. I
ts Hamiltonian is defined as the second trace polynomial, H = 1/2tr(L2
), of a particular Lax matrix L:R(2n) --> gl(n,R). H resembles the Tod
a chain Hamiltonian, but differs by some additional, mixed terms of ''
magnetic type''. L satisfies the R-matrix ansatz together with a parti
cular constant R-matrix on gl(n,R) which is intimately related to the
Belavin-Drinfeld construction.
