The ''gloves and socks'' syndrome was described in 1990 by Harms as a
papulopetechial eruption, found mainly on acral parts. Several viruses
have been implicated as etiologic agents, the most common is parvovir
us B19. We add three more cases of ''gloves and socks'' syndrome, two
of them related to parvovirus B19 and the other to a probable viral et
iology of unknown identity. The literature is reviewed and the possibl
e etiology is discussed.
