The near-infrared and visible absorption spectrum of nitrous oxide (N2
O)-N-14-O-16 has been recorded by intracavity laser absorption spectro
scopy from 11700 to 15000 cm(-1). The absolute intensities of seven ro
tationally resolved overtone and combination bands are reported and di
scussed in relation to their vibrational assignment and compared with
previous photoacoustic measurements.
