Abstract
A version for the calculation of mean first-passage time (MFPT) for no n-Mirkovian processes driven by continuous noises has been proposed by Masoliver recently. in this article, develop some methods for the cal culation of MFPT based on the Masoliver's version. last, we approve th at the tail of switching time distribution has nothing to do with MFPT . This shows that the non-Markovian property of the tail of the switch ing time distribution does not influence MFPT.
