Abstract
This case report describes a serious complication after laparoscopic R osetti fundoplication. Two days postoperatively the proximal part of t he stomach herniated into the thoracic cavity where a gastric perforat ion caused leakage. The patient was reoperated and a new fundoplicatio n was constructed. Postoperatively the patient recovered. Possible mec hanisms are discussed.
