Abstract
The cancellation mechanism in adaptive sidelobe cancellers (SLC) is in vestigated. In addition to conventional adaptive spatial nulling, adap tive interaction among the received jammers is shown to play an import ant role in multiple jammer environments. This interaction makes it po ssible for a single auxiliary element SLC to reject multiple jammers f rom different directions.
