Abstract
An internal irradiation system has been developed at the injector cycl otron of COSY which allows the use of the conventional stacked-foil te chnique for excitation function measurement. The beam quality tests co nsisted of: (i) determination of the beam profile via activity measure ment; and (ii) measurement of the proton flux over a wide energy range using monitor reactions of different thresholds. An example of the ap plication of this facility is mentioned.
