edema, heat cramps, heat syncope, and heat exhaustion respond readily
to simple management techniques. Treatment of heatstroke must include
aggressive cooling, adequate fluid and electrolyte repletion, maintena
nce of adequate cardiovascular performance, and prompt correction of a
ny related or resulting complications.
