Abstract
A case of meningeal sarcoma arising at the site of a prior subdural he matoma and mimicking an acute subdural hematoma on noncontrast CT is p resented. The potential confusion between a hyperdense, nonhemorrhagic lesion and a hematoma on CT is highlighted. This report also reviews the possible relationship between meningeal injury and subsequent neop lastic change.
