Wf. Miles et al., APPLICATIONS OF MASS-SPECTROMETRY TO ENVIRONMENTAL-SAMPLES, International journal of environmental analytical chemistry, 60(2-4), 1995, pp. 145-152
A variety of mass spectrometric techniques including electron impact i
onization, positive and negative chemical ionization, low and high mas
s resolution and MS/MS are applied to samples of environmental interes
t. Examples of real data are given to demonstrate some of the applicat
ions of this methodology to several different sample matrices and the
high degree of sensitivity and specificity made possible with modern i
nstrumentation.
