Lv. Demkina et al., REMOTE DEVICE FOR MEASURING COLOR COORDINATES, CHROMATICITY, AND COLOR DIFFERENCES, Journal of optical technology, 62(7), 1995, pp. 435-438
This paper describes a remote device based on a calculational method f
or obtaining colorimetric quantities from the measured spectral reflec
tances of an object. The time to measure a single spectrum is 3.2 ms.
It makes it possible to determine the colorimetric quantities of not o
nly self-luminous but also nonself-luminous objects illuminated by a s
ource of any unknown spectral content. A built-in microprocessor avera
ges over sixty-four spectra and computes the colorimetric quantities.
