Abstract
This paper describes the main stages of development of a new domestica lly produced nonluminescent immersion oil for microscopy, with no toxi c impurities (PCBs), based on chloroparaffin and dibutylphthalate. The physical and technical characteristics and the results of comparative tests of the new immersion oil and the nearest domestic and foreign a nalogs are presented.
