Abstract
A high speed monolithic WDM detector For 1.5 mu m wavelength light is reported. Formed by integrating an InP planar-waveguide reflection-gra ting demultiplexer with a waveguide-fed pin detector array, the eight channel WDM detector displays a bandwidth of 10GHz for signals spaced at 3.6nm in the 1.5 mu m wavelength fibre band.
