Ae. Babaev et al., NONSTATIONARY RADIATION MODES OF A SYSTEM OF 2 MULTIMODE CYLINDRICAL PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSDUCERS, Acoustical physics, 41(4), 1995, pp. 485-489
A system of two thin-walled multimode piezoelectric ceramic transducer
s immersed in liquid acid excited by nonstationary electric signals is
considered. The transition process is modeled in the framework of the
theory of thin electroelastic shells and an acoustic approximation. A
computational procedure is outlined that evaluates the process with t
he required accuracy and with rigorous allowance for the mutual effect
of reflecting surfaces. The numerical results for different spacings
between the shells and different excitation regimes are presented.
