This paper presents calculations of the flows of acoustic energy under
the conditions of forced bending oscillations of an elastic circular
plate immersed in liquid and loaded by an axial force applied to the c
enter of the plate as well as under the conditions of oscillations in
a liquid bounded by an elastic cylindrical shell with stiff base cover
s as induced by a longitudinal force. These formulations reveal the ci
rculation of considerable amounts of acoustic energy. Circulations clo
sed on the elastic body and isolated circulations are revealed. The en
ergy flows to the far field have intricate profiles going around circu
lation zones.
