Abstract
The effect of Au coatings on reactions of charging/discharging of Pd h ydride (deuteride) electrode were studied. The Au electroless depositi on reaction on PdHx yielded coatings with good adhesion properties dur ing cathodic/anodic cycles. Au coatings retard the exit of H(D) from P d, but do not block entry during water electrolysis.
