Abstract
NMR spectra of electrogenerated triphenylmethyl anions were successful ly measured. Carbon-13 chemical shifts, which were essential to unders tand the nature of the anion, were obtained. Proton NMR gave quantitat ive data on the anion in the catholyte solution.
