The results of 206 batch laboratory tests on selective agglomeration o
f three coals are reported. The effectiveness of the agglomeration pro
cess is analysed with the use of some new indices describing rejection
of sulfur and mineral matter as well as recovery of coal matter. The
influence of the process variables was examined by multiple linear reg
ression. Correction calculus for measurement errors was used to estima
te the accuracy of the experimental results.
