Abstract
A panel of anti-rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (anti-RHDV) monoclona l antibodies was produced and characterized. The ability of the MAbs t o recognize epitopes present on RHDV capsids, European brown hare synd rome virus capsids and RHDV subunits was determined. Preliminary resul ts on the neutralizing capacity of the MAbs were obtained by in vivo p rotection experiments. The antigenic map of RHDV obtained by this stud y is consistent with the current models of the calicivirus structure.
