Abstract
A new approach to production. of microporous carbon materials has been
proposed. It includes the molding of carbon adsorbent within the spac
e of a half-finished workpiece after its final shaping. The method was
realized in the production of such materials by the chlorination of s
elf-bound silicon carbide.
