CT FINDINGS IN DIFFUSE SKELETAL SCLEROTIC HEMANGIOMATOSIS - A DIFFICULT DIAGNOSIS

The CT findings in an unusual case of diffuse skeletal nonvisceral hem angiomatosis with radiologic appearance of purely sclerotic lesions ar e described. To our knowledge, only two cases of diffuse skeletal nonv isceral hemangiomatosis with purely sclerotic lesions and splenic invo lvement have been reported in the radiologic literature. Our case is t he first description of this benign form of skeletal hemangiomatosis w ith purely sclerotic lesions and without splenic involvement.
