Abstract
Two polynuclear tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) derivatives, which contained three TTF sub-units, were synthesized. Their H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, MS, an d UV absorption spectra as well as cyclic voltammograms (CV) were give n. The CV behaviour of the compounds was compared with that of corresp onding TTF derivatives containing one or two TTF sub-units. It indicat ed that the coulombic repulsion in the former was lower than that in t he latter, because a conjugation degree in the former was longer than in the latter.
