Abstract
Eighteen derivatives of six DL amino acid alanine, 2-amino-n-butanoic acid, valine, leucine, phenylalanine, methionine of enantiomers were s eparated by L-isoleucine-t-butylamide type chiral bonded stationary ph ase (CSP) in HPLC. The experimental result showed that the chiral stat ionary phase had good resolution for the racemic alpha-amino acid deri vatives. The performance of the structure of derivatives and compositi on of mobile phase for the resolution was examined. The probable mecha nism for chiral recognition was proposed.
