Abstract
As a new architecture of crystal design in molecular conductors, an ap plication of the intermolecular -I ... X- (X = CN, halogen atom) inter action is presented. Novel radical cation salts of iodine-bonded tetra thiafulvalene (TTF) derivatives have been prepared and their unique cr ystal structures containing strong and directional cation-anion intera ctions are characterized.
