We study the delocalisation of electronic states in a correlated disor
der potential in the form of the Kronig-Penny model. Our results are c
ompatible with the other works claiming a band of Bloch-like extended
states for large system sizes. We have made a clear physical distincti
on between the extended states forming the band and the resonant struc
tures observed in the transmittance peaks away from the band by doing
Argand map study for the phase of the wavefunction and its multifracta
l scaling analysis. We believe this work resolves the recent controver
sies regarding the nature of transmitting states in the correlated dis
order models.
