Abstract
We have carried out optical and far-UV studies of the field around the EUV source EWE J1027 +/- 323. We find two objects which contribute to this flux which are spatially unresolvable with EWE. One is a noncata loged QSO and one is a hidden hot white dwarf. The relative contributi on of each of these to the total EUV flux is uncertain; reasonable sce narios ascribe the majority of the flux to the white dwarf. (C) 1995 A merican Astronomical Society.
