Abstract
In order to establish more adequate experimental conditions to carry o ut the liquid-liquid reextraction for determining anionic species by s pectrophotometry, several metal (Al, Co, Cu, Ni, U and Zn) oxinates ha ve been studied. Solubility and spectral stability of these metal oxin ates have been tested. Solvent nature (chloroform, acetone-chloroform, ethanol-chloroform and methanol-chloroform), as well as addition of s tabilizing substances, such as surfactants and free oxine, according t o environmental light and temperature, have been studied to establish better working conditions.
