Abstract
The conformation of the cyclododecyl ring in the title compound, Na+.C 14H28O3P-.3H(2)O, has slightly distorted 422 symmetry. The molecules a re packed in a head-to-head arrangement. The hydrophilic parts of neig hbouring molecular layers are connected via coordination to Na+ and hy drogen bonds.
