Abstract
Lisfranc fracture-dislocations are rare, and their correct diagnosis i s important. Misdiagnosis is common and can lead to grave, chronic dis ability. We present two cases of Lisfranc fracture-dislocation to high light the mechanisms of injury, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment. Accurate diagnosis by emergency physicians with early ortho pedic referral and evaluation are essential because surgery is often n ecessary for optimal results.
